Saucotec ("we", "our", "us") operates the Messaging Platform, a service that lets a business connect its own WhatsApp Business number, Instagram professional account, and Facebook Page so it can respond to the customers who message it, with an AI assistant and optional human agents. This policy explains what data we access, why, and how we handle it.

How we use it

We use this data solely to deliver the messaging service: receiving inbound messages, generating automated replies, letting human agents respond, and showing the business its own conversations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use message content for advertising.

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp data

Our use of information received from Meta APIs (Messenger Platform, Instagram Messaging, and the WhatsApp Business Platform) follows Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We request only the permissions needed to receive and reply to messages on behalf of the connected business, and to subscribe the connected Page to its message webhooks.

Data retention and deletion

We retain conversation data only as long as needed to provide the service. A business can disconnect a channel at any time, which unsubscribes our app from its Page webhooks and stops any further processing. To request deletion of your data, contact us at the address below and we will delete it.
